The content for the dataset(s) can include weekly price data for the CME Fresh Bacon Index (Fresh Bacon), daily price data for the CME Group Lean Hog Index (Lean Hogs), daily price data for the CME Pork Cutout Index (Pork cutout), daily price data for the CME Boxed Beef Index (Boxed Beef), and daily price data for the CME Feeder Cattle Index (Feeder Cattle).
Livestock Price Indices data can only be used for internal display and internal non display.

Dates Available
The files are available as follows:
- Two files are produced for each product: The price file and the input file.
- Feeder Cattle, Lean Hogs, Pork Cutout and Boxed Beef are calculated daily.
- Bacon is calculated weekly.
- Historically availability of datasets varies for each product:
- Fresh Bacon start date: May 10, 2019
- Pork Cutout start date: August 24, 2015
- Lean Hogs start date: Jan 1, 2019
- Boxed Beef start date: March 5, 2021
- Feeder Cattle start date: Jan 1, 1993

How are files delivered? Delivery is available via FTP and web display through April 27,2024. Beginning February 14, 2024, delivery is available through CME DataMine and web display. When are these files delivered? All data is available on a daily basis except for Fresh Bacon, which is delivered on a weekly basis. |

How large are these files? Files average 1-5kb. Is there a specific process that must be followed in order to use the data? Delivery subscriptions are available via CME DataMine.
