EBS Market and eFix DR for Credit and Risk Management Solutions

This topic describes the impacts to Credit and Risk Management solutions for a DR event on EBS Market and eFix.

Credit and Risk Management solutions operate from the CME DC3 data center.

In the event of a CME Aurora Production data center failover, both New York and London markets will be halted until the CME Aurora failover to DR in NYDC is complete.

Credit and Risk Management DR Impacts

State 1: Normal Production Processing (Pre-DR)

EBS Market and eFix Credit and Risk Management are in a normal production state.

State 2: DR Event

All existing sessions will be severed.

State 3: Connect and Trade in the DR Environment

After notification by GCC that Credit and Risk Management solutions are available, clients can login to GUIs at the normal URLs using their Production User Name and Password.

CME FirmSoft will display historical order activity information for 5 days, and any working orders from prior to the DR event will be marked as eliminated.

State 4: Return to Production

All sessions will again be severed for the return to Production. Once GCC notifies clients that Credit and Risk Management solutions are available, clients can login back in to the GUIs at the normal URLs using their Production User Name and Password.
