Clients systems should note the following during regional maintenance.
Service | Client System Action |
|---|---|
CME STP FIXML | Clients should note that the x-cme-token, which is used by client systems for ongoing subscriptions and for multi-batch queries, will not be valid across regions. After regional maintenance, Client systems will receive a TradeCaptureReportRequestAck with the attribute @txt="x-cme-token is no longer valid. Please initiate a new subscription” Clients systems must reestablish their subscription to obtain a valid token. |
CME STP FIX | During the regional maintenance, client systems using the Managed Connectivity options will be disconnected and are required to reestablish their connections and resubscribe to continue the receipt of post-trade messages. Client systems using Regional Connectivity may optionally switch regions on their end upon disconnection. |
Onboarding

Testing and Certification
For client systems, using CME Straight Through Processing APIs, certification is mandatory before transacting in the Production environment. Certification is required for access to each market and comprised of four test suites to validate client system behavior and ensure messaging and processing reliability and the capability to recover from abnormal message processing events.
