NYMEX and COMEX Market Segment Product Migration
Effective Sunday, December 7, 2025 (trade date Monday, December 8), to optimize trading and instrument management, NYMEX and COMEX products will be migrated to different existing market segments on CME Globex:
All NYMEX Metals, Softs and Alternative Markets Futures and COMEX Futures will migrate from market segment ID 76 to market segment ID 78 (tag 1300-MarketSegmentID).
All COMEX Options and NYMEX Metals, Softs and Alternative Markets Options will migrate from market segment ID 56 to market segment ID 76 (tag 1300-MarketSegmentID).

This migration will utilize existing market segments and MDP channels on CME Globex. Client System Impacts
Client systems will be required to migrate the IP configurations for MSGW iLink and Drop Copy sessions to the updated market segment to continue supporting the impacted products. Additionally, with this migration the MDP 3.0 Market Data Source/Host IPs will also be updated. This migration will utilize existing market segments and MDP channels on CME Globex.
Good Till Cancel (GTC) and Good Till Date (GTD)
Existing GT orders will be migrated to the new market segment along with the instruments. However, the tag 37-OrderID value will be persisted and the Market Segment ID prefix will not be updated. It is important to note that tag 37 value will remain consistent throughout the life of the order. Consequently, clients can cancel or modify orders using tag 37-OrderID, irrespective of the market segment hosting the order.
