MDP TCP Messaging Controls
This topic provides information about MDP TCP CME Globex messaging controls. To protect all market participants from the negative effects of excessive messaging, CME Group has implemented MDP TCP messaging controls for EBS markets. If the client system makes more than 100 unfiltered subscription requests within 1 second then the client system will be terminated and will not be able to connect back until 60 seconds from time of termination. In this scenario the Terminate rejection message will note “SessionBlocked: Exceeded number of requests” in tag 39011-Reason and 39012-ErrorCodes=3 (Other).
